How do I upload my web site?
To upload your website to Gear 3’s server, you will need an FTP program and the following settings:
host: yourdomainname.com
(example: gear3.com)
login/user name: your user name (email account name)
password: your password
directory: /web or ../../web

directory: /web or ../../web
(The site must be uploaded into /web directory at the root level! Not in "user's directory" By default you will be brought into your Users directory, in which there is a “web folder” NOTE: this is NOT where you put the files for your domain's web site. You must go up to the root level where you will see another “web folder” This is the folder for your domain)
Important! Be sure to name your home page index.html
