Technical Requirements of VOIP Server Internal network (LAN) must be direct runs and wired professionally. Direct runs or “home runs” indicate that the network run is not spliced with inexpensive hubs or switches. Gear 3 can survey your current network infrastructure and let you know if your internal network or LAN can support our system. If any network wiring needs to be re-wired or upgraded Gear 3 wiring division is more then equipped to bring your network up to standards. Pricing Options: (additional setup fees may apply) Option A - Phone Extensions. $39 per Phone Extension per Month - unlimited calls, one rate. Gear 3 provides, hosts and manages VOIP server hardware/software. This is best for under 10 phone extensions. Option B - Phone Lines. (Dedicated server is required) $49 per Phone Line per Month - Number of Lines equals number of simultanous calls - Unlimited calls, one rate. Number of phone extensions using phone lines doesn’t matter. This is best for 10 phone extensions and above. Benefits of Gear 3 hosts/houses your VOIP service: Lower intial cost. • Server is managed, monitored and backed up by a UPS and generator • Internet Bandwidth is non-issue • Power issues or Internet issue at client location will not leave phone service down - Callers could still leave Voicemails • Plus many other benefits when VOIP server is hosted by Gear 3! In all scenarios, client is responsible for purchasing SIP enabled phones, from us or elsewhere, as well as tech time to configure phones if needed. International calls are additional.
